🐟 Fish curry on the menu? Give your preparation board some attention too!

Fish juices and tiny scraps can remain in knife grooves, leaving an unpleasant smell. A quick rinse may leave residue behind.

βœ… Scrape off fish scales and scraps.
βœ… Wash with a cleaner suitable for food-contact surfaces, following its label directions.
βœ… Scrub both sides, edges and knife grooves.
βœ… Rinse thoroughly with clean drinking-quality water.
βœ… Stand the board upright and let it dry completely.

A fresh smell alone does not mean the board is sanitized. Keep a separate board for raw fish and replace boards with deep, hard-to-clean grooves.

A final rinsing with few drops of Mephix can keep your chopping board clean and free of smell.
